Gordon Library is hosting a book talk with Wesley T. Mott, Professor Emeritus, WPI Humanities and Arts, on Thursday, November 2. Please join us at 4:00 pm in the FLIP space on the 3rd floor of the library to hear Professor Mott discuss the chapter “Boston and Worcester” from the new book Henry David Thoreau in Context. Professor Mott will also discuss how this new book widens our sense of Thoreau and how Thoreau has been well-received at WPI as the focus of several IQPs. Please join us for this illuminating discussion on Thoreau and Worcester.

The presentation will include a Q&A session, followed by an informal reception with light refreshments.
