Registration Deadline: NCFDD 14-Day Writing Challenge

Wednesday, March 17, 2021
5:00 pm

The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) is running its next 14-Day Writing Challenge from March 22 - April 4. The 14-Day Writing Challenge is an opportunity to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability. It's very simple:

  1. You commit to write every day for at least 30 minutes.
  2. At the beginning of your writing time, you login to our online community, start the timer, complete your writing, and post your progress at the end.
  3. You take 5 minutes to support other writers in your group by commenting on their progress.

This is NOT for you if: 1) you don't want to post your progress on a daily basis and/or 2) you don't want to interact with other people.

The 14-Day Writing Challenge is free of charge to WPI faculty, staff, graduate students, and post-docs because of our institutional membership in the NCFDD, funded by Talent & Inclusion and the Provost's Office. If you have not yet created an individual account on the NCFDD website, go to, click on Become a Member at the top right, and then select WPI from the drop-down list of institutions.
