The National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) is running its next 14-Day Writing Challenge from March 22 - April 4. The 14-Day Writing Challenge is an opportunity to experiment with daily writing, online community, and supportive accountability. It's very simple:
- You commit to write every day for at least 30 minutes.
- At the beginning of your writing time, you login to our online community, start the timer, complete your writing, and post your progress at the end.
- You take 5 minutes to support other writers in your group by commenting on their progress.
This is NOT for you if: 1) you don't want to post your progress on a daily basis and/or 2) you don't want to interact with other people.
The 14-Day Writing Challenge is free of charge to WPI faculty, staff, graduate students, and post-docs because of our institutional membership in the NCFDD, funded by Talent & Inclusion and the Provost's Office. If you have not yet created an individual account on the NCFDD website, go to http://www.facultydiversity.org, click on Become a Member at the top right, and then select WPI from the drop-down list of institutions.
