Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCA USA to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. This campaign is one part of our larger national strategy to fulfill our mission of eliminating racism.
Given the current climate around race & racism, the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Division of Talent and Inclusion seeks to provide knowledge and best practices to support the WPI community in creating a more positive change in society. We are focused on creating a more equitable place to help the WPI community continue their commitment to building inclusivity, acceptance, and non-discrimination. Topics include Divesity, Equity, and Inclusion as well as White Fragility. The two training session on Friday, April 27th from 4pm-6pm in room HL 202. Students, staff, and Faculty are invited to attend the trainings. In addition, WPI Student Activities Office will be hosting a service learning project on Saturday, April 28th where we bring volunteers to local community organizations to help out.
