The Thesis/Dissertation Writing Boot Camp is a three session boot camp for graduate students held each winter to inform graduate students about best practices in organizing and writing a thesis or dissertation. The 2019 Thesis/Dissertation Writing Boot Camp will feature: a panel session with WPI faculty that will discuss effective writing strategies and offer advice on defense presentations; a seminar on citation management, copy-write, and plagiarism; and a seminar on how to weave a story in a thesis/dissertation to better engage the reader. Registration is required for the Boot Camp. A free lunch will be provided at each session.
The three sessions, each covering a different topic, will be held on January 31, February 14, and February 21, 2019.
This session will cover citation management, copy-write, plagiarism, and the electronic thesis/dissertation (ETD) submission process.
