Undergraduate Ceremony: Processional and Recessional
Graduates begin lining up at 8:30 for the processional, which steps off at 9:30 (the ceremony itself starts at 10:00). Originating at Harrington auditorium, the processional winds through the campus, crosses Earle Bridge, follows the sidewalk past Alden Memorial, moves onto the walkway behind Bartlett Center, turns at the Proud goat statue, and proceeds up the center aisle under the tent. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the marchers move down the center aisle and proceed as a group toward the Sports and recreation Center. Guests are asked not to block the progress of the processional or recessional. It is especially important to keep the center aisle clear so marchers may make their way to and from their seats.
