Everyone Has a Story, What’s Yours?
The Women of WPI cordially invite alumnae, employees, students and friends of WPI, to attend their annual, on-campus leadership conference for women. This conference includes a keynote address, professionally facilitated, interactive workshop, lunch, and you will enjoy time for professional networking and social camaraderie!
“Storytelling is the most powerful form of communication. Stories motivate, earn trust, illustrate concepts, reveal vulnerabilities, and most importantly, tap into the emotional part of the brain that is essential for persuasion. This interactive conference workshop will enable you to become better communicators by learning the foundations of effective storytelling, and developing your storytelling skills.” ~ Christine Haas.
The Keynote presenter is Donna Levin, executive director of innovation and entrepreneurship for WPI. Donna’s work aligns entrepreneurial activities across campus and disciplines, and further stimulates innovation among the university community as a whole.
The Workshop will be facilitated by Christine Haas. Christine is the founder of ChristineHaasConsulting, and she has traveled the world teaching scientists, engineers and technical professionals on presentation, design and writing skills, as well as storytelling. Her clients include industry, government, and higher education.
Your day will be enhanced with a presentation from Leslie Dodson, Associate Teaching Professor, Interdisciplinary & Global Studies Division, and co-director of the Global Lab within the Foisie Innovation Studio at WPI.
