WPI invites alumni, families and friends to come together to meet the students of the Washington, D.C. Project Center and to celebrate the center's 45th anniversary. This annual event will highlight the importance of STEM education legislation, and specifically, the the Aim Higher Act (H.R. 6543). Attendees will include members of Congress, Congressional staffers, and others involved with the STEM education field.

Location: The Capitol Visitor Center, Congressional Auditorium and Atrium, First St NE, Washington, DC
*** Please note that the CVC's website states that the building is closed on December 5 for the national day of mourning - our event will proceed as scheduled despite the closing of the building to the public. ***
During this event, guests will also have a chance to hear from Congressman James McGovern (D-MA), a long-time supporter of WPI.

Please keep in mind that security around the Capitol will be very tight this week. When you arrive at the CVC, please enter through the building’s main entrance, located on First St NE. When you approach the entrance, you should enter through the North Door, which will be the entrance on the right-hand side when facing the CVC. Please also remember to bring with you a photo ID.
