WPI Tuition Exchange Application Deadline

Friday, September 28, 2018
5:00 pm

The TE program provides the opportunity for eligible WPI employee dependent children to apply for undergraduate scholarships at one of the TE participating member institutions*.  A list of over 600 colleges and universities that participate in the TE program can be viewed at www.tuitionexchange.org

The TE program is a scholarship program and not a fringe benefit provided by WPI.  Only dependents of full-time faculty and staff who have completed at least three (3) years of full-time employment with WPI are eligible to apply for participation in the TE program on behalf of their dependent children.  Application for the TE program does not guarantee acceptance at a TE member institution or insure receipt of a TE scholarship.

If you have a child who is currently a senior in high school or a child attending a TE member institution without a TE scholarship, please visit the WPI Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy website for an application.  An information session will be offered in early September.

TE applicants for 2019-2020 should complete this application and submit it to the WPI Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy no later than Friday, September 28, 2018.  (Please note that if your dependent child is currently attending a TE member institution with a TE scholarship, it is not necessary to complete another application for 2019-2020.)

*Because the number of TE applications received from WPI employees typically exceeds the number of available TE slots available to certify, not all TE applications can be sent to TE institutions.  In order to determine which TE applications will be sent to TE institutions, all TE applications will be put through a computerized random lottery system.  The lottery system will take place in early October 2018 and TE applicants will be notified of these results by mid-October by the WPI Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy.

WPI’s TE Program and Application to Participate are managed by the WPI Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy.  For more information about this program, please visit our website. If you have any questions about the WPI TE Application or lottery system, please feel free to contact Patty MacInnes, WPI Tuition Exchange Liaison, in the Office of Student Aid & Financial Literacy at extension 5469 or at macinnes@wpi.edu.
