Winter 2019

Once again WPI Journal kicks off the season with a look at what our alumni are up to.

First stop for the Winter 2019 issue was Tacoma, Wash., where we got to hang with Christopher James ’78 in the old growth forest, and talk about his work with the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP). In Washington, D.C., we learned about NPR’s mobile platforms from Ijeoma Ezeonyebuchi ’14. Back in Worcester we met with Marco Kaltofen '09 (MS ENV), ’15 (PHD CE), where this civil engineer “fingerprints” nuclear, chemical, and petroleum contamination. We also visited Denice O'Connell '98 in her veterinarian role of supporting animal welfare for a global pharmaceutical company.

With this digital companion to our print issue we hope our news departments and alumni profiles come together to paint an engaging look at what WPI has to offer.
