DESCRIPTION:Dear Colleagues,\n\nI hope this message finds you well. Today m
 arks a significant moment for the IT Department as we announce the retirem
 ent of Mary Beth Harrity. Mary Beth has been an integral part of the WPI c
 ommunity for 35 years, with 25 of those dedicated to various roles within 
 IT. Her journey began in 1989 when she joined as the Coordinator for the M
 ajor Selection Program in the Student Development Center (later the Career
  Development Center). In 1999, she transitioned to the College Computer Ce
 nter (CCC), where she took on diverse roles, including Director of the ATC
  and, most recently, Associate CIO for Academic Technologies.\n\nWhile it’
 s bittersweet to bid farewell, we are filled with immense gratitude for th
 e privilege of working alongside Mary Beth. As she embarks on this well-de
 served retirement, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate her remar
 kable achievements and express our heartfelt appreciation for her 35 years
  of dedication to WPI.\n\nPlease join us in giving Mary Beth a memorable s
 end-off on Monday, June 3rd, from 3pm to 5pm in the Higgins House Great Ha
 ll. This gathering will be an opportunity to meet not only Mary Beth but a
 lso her primary motivator for retirement: her 7-month-old grandson, Colton
 . Mary Beth also plans to indulge in her passion for camping during retire
 ment, a hobby she has long-enjoyed during summer vacations and long weeken
 ds.\n\nMary Beth, your presence will be deeply missed, but your impact wil
 l resonate within our department for years to come. We wish you all the ha
