Synopsis |
On Wednesday April 10, 2024, at approximately 10:50 PM a WPI student was walking near 101 Highland St. When she witnessed a male on the sidewalk that may have been performing a sexual act. No contact was made between the student and male. The area was checked by the WPI Police and the Worcester Police. The male was located, and the Worcester Police are investigating the incident. |

On Thursday 03/28/2024 at approximately 11:00PM a WPI Student was walking on Highland St., to their off-campus residence, when they witnessed a male on the sidewalk near 113 Highland St. performing a sexual act while looking at his phone. No contact was made between the two individuals. The area was checked by Police and the male was not located. WPI and Worcester Police are investigating the incident. |

Synopsis |
On Monday, March 11, 2024, at approximately 5:55pm, WPI Police received a report from a WPI students that while walking on Highland St. near the intersection of Sever St, a vehicle drove alongside the student and the occupant shot an airsoft pellet gun at the student. The student was hit and did not sustain any injuries. The vehicle continued traveling on Highland St. towards West St. The incident is being investigated by WPI and Worcester Police. |

Synopsis |
On Friday March 1, 2024 at approximately 9:35pm, WPI Police received a report from two WPI students that while walking on Park Ave at the intersection of Elm St, a vehicle drove alongside them, slowed down and one of the occupants shot an airsoft pellet gun at the students. Both students were hit and did not sustain any injuries. The vehicle continued traveling south on Park Ave in an unknown direction. The incident is being investigated by WPI and Worcester Police.

Synopsis |
A short time ago, WPI Police were notified that earlier this morning, a neighboring university’s student was a passenger in an UberX vehicle. During their transport, the operator engaged in a heated discussion with someone on the phone whereupon the operator produced a handgun and began waving it around the inside of the vehicle. The student terminated their ride and walked back to campus. The vehicle is described as a 2014 Toyota Rav 4, color brown, with a Massachusetts license plate of 8FS525 being operated by a male individual. If you use a ride share service, we strongly recommend not accepting a ride from anyone operating this vehicle. This incident is being investigated by the Worcester Police and neighboring university’s police department. |
