DESCRIPTION:Uncontrolled bleeding is the top cause of preventable death aft
 er a traumatic injury. The UMASS Memorial Health Injury PreventionTeam par
 tners with Stop the Bleed, a nationwide initiative led by the American Col
 lege of Surgeons, to empower bystanders to act quickly and control bleedin
 g before first responders arrive. They provide free training and equipment
  to teachers, community organizations, health care professionals and anyon
 e who wants to provide life-saving care during a bleeding emergency.\nThe
