 ice to strive against such a certain future? Part observation and part cal
 l to action\, this talk will explore the expanding role of designers as an
 alysts\, ecologists\, chemists\, waste managers\, and witnesses to this ch
 anging planet.\nMickey Chapa AIA\, LEED AP\, LFA\, CPHC is a member of PAY
 ETTE’s Building Science Group\, bringing 10+ years’ experience as an a
 rchitect to the role. Mickey is currently leveraging his expertise to expl
 ore comprehensive carbon reductions through energy modeling\, life cycle a
 ssessment\, material health\, and the circular economy at scale. He co-cha
 irs a circular economy research group at PAYETTE\, participates in Carbon 
 Leadership Forum (CLF) New England’s Reuse Subcommittee\, and is current
 ly appointed to AIA National’s 2030 Commitment Working Group.
