C-Term ProjectConnect

Want to get to know students outside of your social group and help build community on campus? ProjectConnect is a fun, 6-session peer-led program in which participants discuss a series of thought-provoking questions using a connection card deck, complete a mini connection project, and get together for a celebration. For more info on session dates and to register, fill out the ProjectConnect Registration Form.

"ProjectConnect has introduced me to many new friends and provided me the space to be myself. It gave me a sense of community and comfort, allowing for people like me to reach out and make new connections. I'm excited for the program to gain more traction in the WPI community and help destigmatize asking for help."

Dec 13 Wellness and Rest Day

The offerings include Chair Massage, Drop-in Hygge Wellness Spa, Hot Chocolate and Popcorn Bar, Holiday and Star Wars Movie Marathons, and other events. Watch the Dec 13 Wellness Day Calendar for new activities as they are added. As we look forward to the end of B term and winter break, you can continue to protect yourself, and your friends and family, from COVID by taking a few simple steps:

Test: You have an extra COVID test kit in the vending machine, so be sure to grab one to take home for winter break. Test 24 hours before you return to campus for C term. Note that the expiration date on the kits was extended by the FDA. In addition, you will have access to another four kits for C and D terms.

Vaccinate: Get a flu shot or COVID booster. Data shows that vaccination reduces the risk of serious disease and transmission. The closest locations to campus are:

CVS – 44 West Boylston Street, Worcester (WPI SNAP transportation available) No appointment needed.

Walgreens Pharmacy – 320 Park Avenue, Worcester (WPI SNAP transportation available) No appointment needed.

Shaw’s Pharmacy – 14 West Boylston Street, Worcester (WPI SNAP transportation available). Appointment required.

Mask: Wear a mask in indoor spaces when case numbers rise, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or concerns.

Stay informed: Check our FAQs and resources about COVID and flu, CDC guidelines, vaccinations, and testing.
