My research lies at the interface of theoretical non-equilibrium thermodynamics and complexity science. I use theory, computation, and experimental techniques to understand pattern formation in systems that have been driven out-of-equilibrium.Examples include thermo-fluid convective systems, electro-optical cells, granular material, and stochastic multi-agent simulation models.
