Christopher J. Chagnon‘s research focuses on user experience, decision making, and interaction design. His passion is in designing systems and interfaces that are both highly usable and beautiful, as well as in studying behavioral aspects of service and experience design. Much of his research emphasizes innovating and iterating upon contemporary user experience paradigms and developing new methodology for service delivery..

Prior to entering the PhD program, he received an MS in Information Technology from WPI and a BA in Visual Communications from Framingham State University. Chris comes to WPI with nearly a decade of industry experience in the information technology field, in which he has been the recipient of several industry awards and accolades.
