Master Sergeant Thomas E Blair was raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Rockland High School in 2002. Upon graduation, he enlisted as an Infantryman in the Army in October, 2002.
MSG Blair has been stationed in Fort Benning, South Korea, Fort Hood, and Fort Bragg. He has deployed for over 63 months in support of Operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Small Kill Team Leader (SKT Leader), Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and First Sergeant.
His military education includes the Basic Leaders Course (Honor Grad), Advanced Leaders Course (Commandants List), Senior Leaders Course (Commandants List), Basic Airborne Course, Ranger School, Battle Staff, and the United States Army Jumpmaster School.

MSG Blair has a 5 year old son, Landon, and 2 year old son, Connor.
