Pronouns: she/her. As Assistant Director of Academic Advising, I am responsible for creating engaging academically based programs for sophomore students through the Sophomore Experience program (SophEx), which provides sophomores with opportunities to make connections with their peers, campus partners and alumni. In addition, I provide academic advising support to a caseload of students, helping them make decisions about their academic and personal path. I participate on several committees including, supporting LGBTQIA+ students as well as developing engaging campus programming for all students. I also create content for our Academic Advising social media platforms on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook (@WPIAcademicAdvising).
As a first-generation college student, I can relate to the anxiety and unknown that surrounds the transition to college. I can confidently affirm the importance of utilizing support and the many resources that are available. I aim to create an inclusive and safe environment as an advisor and as a mentor. My overarching goal is to help students turn their dreams into reality. Outside of WPI, I enjoy cooking, quoting movies, listening to great music, and spending time with friends.
