Noemi Robertson joined the STEM Education Center as the Director of Community Partnerships & Educational Equity in October 2022.

Noemi is responsible for building and managing relationships in the local community to support teaching experiences for the WPI Teacher Preparation Program and for equitable PreK-12 STEM learning opportunities. She promotes and supports PreK-16 teachers in developing equitable and inclusive STEM curriculum and instructional practices. Additionally, she supports the Mass Academy of Math & Sciences in sustaining existing partnerships and building new ones to strengthen the STEM pipeline. She assists with the Worcester area ASPIRE-RC program, which aims to build capacity for inclusive and diverse STEM faculty at community colleges.

For 15 years, Noemi served as an Educational Leader at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School. She led and coordinated all aspects of their Title I program, the English Language Learners program, state and local assessments, and summer school. Due to the increased English Language Learners and Title I populations and significant proficiency gaps, Noemi collaborated with school leaders and teachers on data review, critical policy, and procedural changes. Additionally, she volunteered with the Fitchburg Youth Today Leadership Program to increase academic success and improve student-teacher relations and community engagement.

Noemi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University, Florida, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Management from Fitchburg State University.
