Patricia Patria is WPI’s vice president for information technology and chief information officer. She plays a vital role in strategic leadership for the planning and delivery of major IT initiatives on campus, as well as overseeing Network Operations, Systems Services, Application Administration, Data Architecture, Enterprise Resource Planning, Support Services, Project Management, Academic Technologies, Research Computing, and IT Security.
Prior to joining WPI, she was vice president for information technology at Becker College, a position she held after serving as the college’s chief information officer via Ellucian, a leading provider of higher education technology services that works with more than 2,500 institutions around the world. She also held several positions at Bentley University, whose information security system she built from the ground up.
Patria earned an MBA from Suffolk University. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a certified Information Systems Security Professional.
