Stephanie joined the Office of Pre-Collegiate Outreach Programs in the spring of 2020 as the Project Lead The Way Professional Learning Lead. In this role she helps coordinate professional development for Massachusetts PLTW teachers as well as oversees the PLTW training that occurs every summer at WPI. Stephanie regularly visits PLTW classrooms across The Commonwealth providing teachers support and coaching.
Prior to becoming the PLTW lead at WPI, Stephanie was an elementary school teacher. She worked as a second grade teacher and then an elementary science teacher for six years. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and her Masters in Education from Boston College. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Stephanie conducted research at Brown University studying sleep and emotional regulation in children between the ages of two and five.
