The FinTech Collaborative is an interdisciplinary initiative focused on creating a more cohesive academic and institutional strategy to support the creation, implementation, and commercialization of innovative and thoughtful financial technology (FinTech) in the evolving financial sector.  Students participating in the project center work in New York City or Boston, MA. FinTech refers to technology enabled financial solutions. It is often seen today as the new marriage of financial services and information technology.

Past Projects:

Past students at the project center have focused on:

  • Risk reduction - Improving risk reporting and technology at Lehman Brothers for country and credit risk
  • Information sharing - Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of information sharing practices for trading support teams in the Global Credit Products division of Bank of America
  • Client services - Identifying best practices in client service at New York and London branches of Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage
