Location and Culture
Worcester, England is a quaint city two hours northwest of London, and is a popular choice for students. Several cities and tourist attractions are within easy reach, and a designated long weekend allows students to travel further into the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. Average temperatures in Worcester in March range from 37°F to 52°F.
Housing and Meals
WPI students will reside in dormitories on St. John’s campus. Accommodation type and location are subject to change without notice and will be confirmed the term prior to departure.
British cuisine is generally made with quality local ingredients and simple sauces to accentuate flavor; it has also absorbed the cultural influence of those who have settled in Britain, producing hybrid dishes like chicken tikka masala. Students should inform their advisor of any health concerns, dietary restrictions, or allergies in advance of participation in this program.

- Evaluated the potential for hosting repair cafes on college campuses with the University of Worcester
