Spanning 12 different time zones between Europe and Asia, Russia is the largest country in the world in terms of land mass, natural resources and opportunities for economic and technological growth. The Moscow Project Center provides many opportunities for students to participate in Russian culture, to work with local students and non-profits, and to learn about the rich heritage of innovation in the Russian science, technology and aerospace. Students have been completing projects in Moscow since 2013.

Past Moscow students have:

•Repurposed the design for a coffee grinder, the flagship product of Soviet-era company Mikromashina

•Evaluated ramifications of climate change in the Arctic for Russian energy companies with Ernst & Young

•Identified best available technologies and practices to increase energy efficiency for the Moscow Metro
