Laura’s days at WPI are a balance of everything she loves. As a Fulbright Scholar from Berlin, Germany, in the management master’s degree program, she expands on WPI’s technological strengths to build on her own innovative business approach. But she also finds time to relax with friends or play on a club soccer team.
With high standards and professors who invite collaboration, she says the project-based curriculum and working in groups give her a broad problem-solving perspective. Interacting with many different people imparts another bonus—she enjoys learning about the backgrounds, interests, and research of her peers.
Advisors Adrienne Hall-Phillips and Sharon Wulf have been instrumental in helping Laura carve her own path in the business world. Their constant reinforcement of her ambition to become a leader motivates her. After graduation, she intends to use the technical skills and the broad entrepreneurial knowledge she’s gained at WPI to launch her own business.
