As we move forward together, WPI is continuing its efforts in offering students a “near normal” campus experience, including in-person learning with fully enrolled classes, normal residential housing on campus with WPI visitors allowed, and the return of in-person club meetings and athletic competitions. However, we must continue to observe our health and safety protocols to keep ourselves—and in turn, each other—as safe as possible and #ProtecttheHerd.

Face Covering Requirements

WPI must continue to follow a mandate by the City of Worcester that individuals must wear face coverings when indoors in public/shared spaces, regardless of vaccination status, unless in a private office or living environment; masks are optional in private settings. WPI will no longer permit the use of cloth masks alone. We strongly encourage use of a KN95 or a snug-fitting single-use surgical mask (which are even more effective when doubled up), although use of a cloth mask over a disposable surgical mask is permitted.
