WPI Venture Forum, September 9, 2008
The Collaborative for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) is WPI's university-wide entrepreneurship center. We guide current and aspiring entrepreneurs in building technological products, businesses, organizations, and intellectual property portfolios.
WPI's academic and cultural diversity create an environment in which students inherently acquire an entrepreneurial mindset. The center's educational programs, competitions, resources, and networking opportunities facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship not only on our campus, but also in the greater business community.
The creation of sustainable technological enterprises and licensing opportunities is achieved through use of our resources and network and by participating in our programs and competitions. An entrepreneurship minor and several entrepreneurship and innovation courses are also offered.
Our Top Ten programs were recognized in 2005 by Entrepreneur Magazine’s TechknowledgePoint survey of entrepreneurial schools by ranking us highest among the nation's schools with an Entrepreneurship Emphasis.
We welcome you to discuss, in strict confidence, ideas for new technology-based businesses, products, services, or processes. We may provide services based upon your unique needs or suggest mentors, programs, or resources to help move you forward.
