Search Completed Projects

At WPI undergraduates are required to complete two projects: one exploring the intersection of science, technology and society (Interactive Qualifying Project or IQP), and another in the major field (Major Qualifying Project or MQP). Collectively, WPI students complete several hundred projects each year. The library retains an archive print copy of IQP/MQP projects between 1999-2007. Electronic archiving began with selected projects in 2004 and many are available for worldwide access. As of Fall 2007 all undergraduates are required to submit projects in PDF format electronically.

Search the Library Catalog - Project Report Limit   

Search the Library Catalog for available projects 1999+ by choosing the drop down LIMIT to: option for WPI Project Reports. Search Tips | Online Tutorial (<5 min.)

For print projects, WPI network users can click "Request" within the library catalog. You will be notified via email within 1 business day when the item is available for in-library use.

Electronic projects can be accessed directly by clicking "Link to E-Project" in the catalog record. If off campus, for some you may have to connect using the Proxy server.

Search Interdisciplinary and Global Studies Division: IQP's Only.

Most from 1998-99 to present, but some early project abstracts (back to 1986 are available). Created by the Interdisciplinary and Global Studies Division, this special IQP database also lists award-winning IQP's, some executive summaries, and background on the IQP and WPI's innovative approach to education.
