Connecting High School Mathematics to College and Careers
The Toyota-RIT Applied Math Initiative, (TAMI), is a program that runs workshops for high school mathematics teachers interested in learning more about how high school math is applied in professions and how high school math forms the basis for college curricula.
With funding from the Toyota Foundation, TAMI will run workshops at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, the Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Delaware, and the University of Minnesota in 2014.The Worcester Polytechnic Institute workshop will be Monday July 14th, 2014 - Thursday July 17th, 2014 and is expected to run from 8:30am - 3:30pm each day.
