The SAC 2016 - the 31st ACM/SIGAPP Symposium on Applied Computing was held on 

April 4-8 in Pisa, Italy.

This symposium has been the primary forum for applied computer scientists, computer engineers, software engineers and application developers from around the world. The SAC 2016 was sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Group on Applied Computing and was hosted by the University of Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant' Anna University, Italy.

Two Ph.D. students working with Professor Elke Rundensteiner, Ramoza Ahsan and Rodica Neamtu, presented a poster on their research related to the MATTERS project entitled :

"TOWARDS SPREADSHEET INTEGRATION USING ENTITY IDENTIFICATION DRIVEN BY A SPATIAL-TEMPORAL MODEL."

Their poster was judged to be the SAC 2016 BEST POSTER WINNER!.
