Title
Academic Advisor
Department : Academic Advising
Office location: Unity Hall

Pronouns: They/them/she/her. In my role as Advisor for Academic Support, I primarily serve as an academic advisor for undergraduate students, helping them build a foundation for their academic and holistic success here at WPI. Outside of these duties, I am also responsible for creating programming specifically geared towards sophomore students to help support and guide them through their next milestones as WPI students, such as preparing to apply for their interactive qualifying project (IQP).

As an undergraduate student, I struggled with the idea of coming to college because I wasn't sure that it was for me. I changed my major several times within my first year, and had a few crises along the way trying to decide what I really wanted to do with my life. Thankfully, I had an amazing academic success advisor who not only stuck with me, but encouraged me to get through the weeds and find my true passion. I am forever indebted to her because not only did she support me, but she inspired me to pursue a master's degree and become an academic advisor, essentially following in her footsteps. My main goal with advising students is for them feel supported in the same way I was - I want my students to be successful, however they define success, not only in their academics but in their personal lives. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, a good bubble tea, finding new music, and lounging around with my cat, Flowers.
