Major Qualifying Project (MQP)

Students will be located in the Eastern Region of Ghana in the villages of Kyebi and Dwenase as well as at the Academic City University College in Accra.  The villages of Kyebi and Dwenase are populated by the Okyeman, one of the three major tribes in Ghana.  This is a remote location in the rural areas of Ghana. Dwenase is a village of roughly 2,000 people. Kyebi has a population of roughly 10,000 people. The Academic City University College is located in Accra, the capital of Ghana with an estimated urban population of 4.2 million as of 2020. Accra is the most densely populated city in Ghana.  The Ghana Project Center was established in 2020.
