Web File Drop

The web file drop is a platform which can facilitate distribution of data among collaborators via the web. The people using the mechanism need to know the directory name, so only people you inform will be able to use the area. Beyond this level of privacy, you might require that people use a password to upload and/or to download data from the directory. Perhaps some who knew a password might be able to upload, but others might only be able to download. You can also set email alerts so that a list of people could receive email when new data is uploaded or when even data is downloaded.

If you are looking for a less secure but easier way to upload files for open sharing, you may find that Web Upload is a better fit.

The data is stored in your quota. Any passwords are distinct from your CCC password, so you are not compromising any of your other data by using this mechanism.
