Accepted Student Events

Attending an Accepted Student Day is a great way for students and families to get a more in depth look at WPI.  You will have the opportunity to pick from a variety of different academic presentations, hear from faculty, talk to current students, and take a campus tour.

WPI Perspectives – Celebrating Women in STEM 

Thursday, March 26th 6:30PM - 7:30PM  

Join us for a Women in STEM Panel, where we will share the history of Women at WPI in STEM. Anyone interested in learning about the community for women is encouraged to attend. Current WPI students will serve as panelists to talk about their experience and involvements in campus.   

WPI Perspectives - Community and resources for the LGBTQIAP+ community

Monday, April  6th 6:30PM - 7:30PM

Join us as we share the history of LGBTQIAP+ students at WPI.  Attendees will learn about programming, clubs and organizations, support for lived names and pronouns, and community resources in Worcester. This will be a Panel of current students who will also share about their experience at WPI. 

WPI Perspectives – Mental Health & Wellbeing 

Tuesday, April  7th 6:30PM - 7:30PM

In this webinar we will focus on the topics of mental health and well-being at WPI.  Attendees will hear from staff from the Center for Well-Being and the Student Development and Counseling Center. They will speak about programming, services and resources at WPI and the Worcester area.   

WPI Perspectives – Religious Involvement & Spiritual Life

In this panel discussion, you’ll hear from various student organizations about WPI’s spiritual life, religious diversity, and community support available in the city of Worcester. 

WPI Perspectives - First-Generation and Next Steps

Thursday, April 23rd 6:30PM - 7:30 PM  

Are you nervous about the next steps in enrolling in college? Are you the first or one of the first in your family to attend a university, and seeking guidance? Join leaders from campus departments as they answer all your questions on how WPI will become your home away from home. 

Designed for accepted students who are not able to attend an Accepted Student Day, this half day program will include a student and faculty panel, campus tour and lunch in Morgan Dining Hall. Counselors from the Office of Financial Aid will be available to meet with families and will host a Financial Aid Session at 1 pm. This is a great way to visit campus again, or for the first time, to get all of your questions about WPI answered.

Can't make any of our accepted student events? Not to worry! The undergraduate admissions office offers campus tours and information sessions on most weekdays and select Saturdays, Academic Preview Days on several Saturdays throughout the Spring, and virtual information sessions & student-led campus tours that you can complete from the comfort of home.
