"It is difficult to say what is impossible, for the dream of yesterday is the hope of today and the reality of tomorrow."
Robert Goddard

Welcome to the Air Force ROTC Detachment 340 web page. Throughout this page you will find information about Air Force ROTC and our 340th Cadet Training Wing. This site is here to answer your questions about our Wing and the incredible program that can be found here in Worcester, Massachusetts. Located at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Detachment 340 serves all the colleges in the Worcester Consortium. The cadre and wing staff strive year-round to prepare all cadets to become the best Lieutenants in the Air Force. The leadership training we provide is an invaluable resource both in and out of the U.S. military and instills in our cadets the motto of the Detachment 340 Eagles: Strong, Proud and Free.
