WPI's First Computer (1963)
This IBM 610 is a taste of what "computing" looked like in the early 1960's. Not only won't this machine run Maple or SAS – it had all of the power and memory of a 1990's pocket calculator. And yes, it had vacuum tubes, over 250 of them. Still. in the early 1960's, this was state-of-the-art!
