K-12 Outreach
WPI has a unique and vigorous K-12 outreach program focused on science, mathematics and engineering. Dozens of programs provide learning opportunities and resources for teachers and students in kindergarten through high school. Our programs include pre-engineering and research experiences for students, professional development for teachers, and relevant, standards-based curricular activities to use in the classroom.

Project Lead The Way Guidance Counselor Conference
January 7-8, 2010
As the Massachusetts Affiliate for Project Lead The Way, WPI is pleased to host the 2010 New England PLTW Counselor Conference. This annual conference is designed to keep school counselors up to date on Project Lead The Way. It also serves as an important opportunity for school administrators from interested schools to become better acquainted with the program. The conference will enable attendees to better understand what Project Lead The Way is, who it is for, and what outcomes students, parents and teachers can expect from the program. We look forward to representatives from your school joining us!
Please note: New PLTW school district agreements state that PLTW schools must send at least one counselor each year to a PLTW counselor conference.
