Jazz improvisation in honor of Black History Month

This Thursday, January 25, the WPI Black History Month Committee and the WPI Jazz Group will be hosting a jazz improvisation workshop featuring WPI's own Jazz Ensemble and the IAJE All-State All-Star High School Combo. Leading this workshop will be jazz violinist Regina Carter. She has recorded with many well known artists including Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Max Roach and Lauryn Hill. The workshop, beginning at 3:00pm, is free and open to the public. So stop on by Spaulding Recital Hall in the basement of Alden Hall for an hour and a half of great jazz.
