Holly (Weymouth) Fanjoy

Holly (Weymouth) Fanjoy, MD, and her husband, Rob, welcomed their first child, Jacob, on December 16, 2007. Holly is completing her residency in emergency medicine at the University of Michigan and will be employed at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME starting this fall. -January 23, 2008

Kristiferanne (Dreyer) Abraham

Kristiferanne and Ryan Abraham ('98) welcomed their daughter, Haley Elizabeth, on January 2, 2007. Haley weighed 6lbs 15.4 oz and was 19.5 inches. The Abrahams live in West Townsend, MA. -October 19, 2007

Kirk Johnson

Capt Kirk Johnson (00) and his wife Christine Belushko Johnson (01) are currently living in Dayton, OH, with their two children, Aidan (age 3.5) and Erin (age 19 months). Kirk is currently a Captain in the Air Force stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB working at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. -January 13, 2007

Kara (Gibbs) Delaney

Kevin and Kara (Gibbs) Delaney (both class of '00) welcome their first baby. Colin Gibbs Delaney was born on July 29, 2006. He was 21 inches long and weighed 6 lbs, 5 oz. -October 01, 2006

Thomas Scherpa & Malinda Danforth

On September 24, 2005, Thomas Scherpa and Malinda Danforth (both '00) were married in Nashua, New Hampshire. The wedding party included WPI alumni Josef Scherpa ('98), Jocelyn Songer ('00), and Samuel Bullock ('00). Malinda received her M.D. from Dartmouth Medical School in 2005, and is currently completing her residency in Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center. Tom completed his M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering in 2002, and is currently working as a Process Safety and Fire Protection Engineer for DuPont. Both are now living in Agawam, MA. -September 21, 2006

Seth Y. Flagg

Dr. Seth Y. Flagg graduated this past May from Tufts Univ. School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Upon graduation he was commissioned as Lieutenant in the US Navy. He is currently serving his country as a Family Medicine Intern at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in NC. -September 06, 2006

Marybeth Miskovic

Marybeth Miskovic completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2003. Since then, she has completed an internship at an equine referral hospital in New Hampshire. She is currently a Resident in Large Animal Medicine at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. -September 13, 2005

Dr. Robin E Zack (BBI, '00) recently completed the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Sarah Snow and Nathan Wilfert were married June 1, 2002. Nathan works as a Software Design Engineer for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington and Sarah works as a Senior Consultant for Experio Solutions in Seattle. The couple lives in Redmond, Washington and takes advantage of biking, rock climbing, and hiking in the area. -August 14, 2002

Valerie Mason

As of January 2003, Valerie became the new superintendent of Needle Manufacturing for United States Surgical, a division of Tyco Healthcare. Her responsibilities include overseeing the daily manufacturing operation of the company's speciality surgical needles that are then attached to various sutures. Valerie, and her husand, Michael, also welcomed son number 3, Christopher Robert, on March 18, 2003. Christopher joins Michael, 4 1/2, and Nicholas 2 1/2. -April 28, 2003

Meghan Cryan

Marc and Meghan (Fraizer) Cryan are pround to announce the birth of their second chid. Molly Rose Cryan was born September 24th, 2007. She weighed 8lbs 3.5 oz. and measured 20 inches long. The family, including big sister Emma is doing well. -October 23, 2007

Alison (Hughes) Katz

Alison Hughes and Jason Katz ('01) were married on October 28, 2006 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The wedding party included best man Ryan Johnson ('01), groomsmen Jim Shannan ('00) and Brian Carelli ('00), and bridesmaids Kim Morin ('02) and Jaclyn McHugh ('02). The couple honeymooned in Europe with stops in Paris, Tuscany, and Rome. They currently reside in Ashland, MA. -December 29, 2006

Jared Rhoads

Jared M. Rhoads '02 has celebrated the one-year anniversary of The Lucidicus Project, a non-profit effort that he founded for the purpose of helping medical students to understand the moral and economic case for capitalism in medicine. Jared also works as a researcher for a leading healthcare consulting group in Boston, and is taking courses in philosophy through the California-based Ayn Rand Institute. -October 27, 2006

Kerri Lemire

Kerri (Dagesse)and Charles Lemire, Jr. were married in July 2002, in Hollis, NH, with classmates Jason Field, Jason Hemmer and Jonathan Hone '01 in the wedding party. Kerri and Chuck welcomed their first child, Charles (Charlie) Romeo Lemire, III on January 11, 2006. They currently reside in Waltham, MA. -October 05, 2006

Dan Tromp

Dan Tromp '02 and Katherine Labbe '05 were married on August 6, 2005. The wedding was attended by numerous WPI alumni including Stephen Worsham as the best man and Alexis Steinhart as a bridesmaid. Dan and Katie have a home in Worcester. Katie will be attending the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in the Fall, and Dan is a software developer for ING. -July 10, 2006

David F. Chevrier

David F. Chevrier ('02) and Lauren M. Barker ('04) were wed in Lewiston, Maine, on August 28, 2004. They reside on Cape Cod, where Lauren is a Research Associate for a leading global supplier of analyte detection products, Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. David is a GIS Specialist and Software Engineer for the Federal Government in Woods Hole. At the NOAATech 2004 Expo in Washington DC, he won "Best Visualization in Research" for his work on 3D visualization of fisheries acoustics data. His scientific animations will be displayed in a museum exhibit at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute in Portland, Maine opening in September 2005. -May 09, 2005

Jessa Anne Thomas and Eric Stephen Marshall were wed on Saturday, August 28th, 2004, at the Harding Allen Estate. They left shortly after for their honeymoon in Fiji. -October 07, 2004

Amy Bliven

Amy Bliven ('02) and Dennis Siewert became engaged over Valentine's Day weekend. He surprised her with a ring right in front of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom. Suzanne Armitstead (class of '02) and Jim Aguiar Thatcher (class of '01) were married on Sept. 28, 2002 at the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester, N.H. Elizabeth Sarah Cash Hitchcock

Elizabeth Sarah Cash Hitchcock ('02), recently married Jeremy Paul Hitchcock ('04) in a small double ring ceremony at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Manchester, New Hampshire. Currently they are living in their first home in Manchester, New Hampshire. They will be going on a Mediterranean Cruise for their honeymoon later in the year. Jeremy's attendants included Tim Wilde. Also present at the ceremony were Sarah Themm, Ben Parks ('03), Jon Graham ('01), and Meri Campbell ('02, '04). The next day they had a celebratory barbeque where more alum from WPI were able to come and enjoy the festivities. -June 21, 2004

Amy Bliven ('02) and Dennis Siewert (Florida State '96) were married in Connecticut on July 2, 2005. A reception followed in North Kingstown, RI. Elizabeth Levandowsky ('02), Chris Nichols ('00), and Elliot Field ('02) were part of the wedding party. There were also many other WPI alumni in attendance. Kurt and Shauna Onofrey

Kurt Onofrey ('04) and Shauna Malone,MPH ('02)were married on August 5th, 2005. The couple was attended by the Bride's sister, Megan, and the Groom's brother, Andrew. They both will be working in the State Lab Institute in Jamaica Plains. Kurt works as a Quality Control Analyst for the Mass Biologics Labratory, while Shauna will be starting a new career with the Department of Public Health, in the Comunicable Disease Bureau. The happy couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. -August 31, 2005

Anthony was engaged to Lauren Boulanger of Smithfield, RI on September 24th, 2006 and will be married in Bristol, RI on July 6th, 2008. He is currently working for Simonds International as Director of New Product Development for Wood Processing Products. Katherine (Martel) Mason and David Mason

Katherine (Martel) Mason ('04) and David Mason (BS '04, ME '05) were married July 1, 2006 on the beach in Kennebunkport, Maine. The wedding party included WPI alumni Daniel Thiffault ('03) and Walker League-Pike ('04). In attendance were WPI alumni Aaron Meberg ('04), Winfield Peterson ('03), Elias Wilson ('05), Anmol Nagre ('05, ME), and Shweta Shanbhag ('06, ME). Erin Dupak (‘04) and Tom Daly (‘04) became engaged in May of 2006, while vacationing in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Erin received her Masters of Engineering in Bio-Engineering from the University of California, San Diego and is currently employed by DePuy Spine, a Johnson & Johnson company, in Raynham MA. Tom is President and Chief Technology Officer of Dynamic Network Services, Inc. in Manchester, NH. The couple lives in Nashua, NH and they are planning a June 2007 wedding. -December 28, 2006

Erin Bliven recently accepted an epidemiologist position with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. She will be working with the Tuberculosis Clinical Trials Consortium in the Clinical and Health Systems Research Branch in the Division of Tuberculosis Elimination in the Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD and Tuberculosis Prevention. -December 11, 2006

Tasha (Andrade) Clark (04) and Josh Clark (04) were married on Sept. 24th, 2006 at Blissful Meadows in Uxbridge, MA. Josh is currently working as a software engineer at Nuvosoft in Waltham, MA. Tasha is in her 3rd year of law school at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. They went to Lenox, MA in the Berkshires for a mini-honeymoon and will be going someplace tropical over the summer after Tasha takes the bar exam. -September 30, 2006

Térèse is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is attending Tufts University School of Medicine this fall. Brian is currently attending Suffolk University Law School. Erin Bliven

Erin Bliven ran the New York City Marathon on November, 6, 2005, finishing in a time of 4 hours 58 minutes. Erin will graduate from Emory University in December of 2005 with a Masters in Public Health in epidemiology and will be working as an infection control epidemiologist at Grady Health Systems, in Atlanta, GA. -November 18, 2005

John Lee Baird

As of September 2005, John Lee Baird has begun graduate studies towards an M.Sc. in Yale's School of Public Health. Also, in November 2005, Hess Educational Organization in Taiwan, ROC will publish its definitive collection of games and learning activities for teaching English as a second language, "Language Learning Games and Activities." This book features several contributions written by John Lee Baird that Hess has adopted as part of its official curriculum, including classroom adaptations of games like "Space Invaders" and creative writing activities such as the "Create a Comic Project." Hess is the largest private provider of English education in Taiwan. -September 29, 2005
