This project was a joint effort between National Grid and our project team to develop a single model to calculate estimated time of restoration for both pre and post storm. A database containing storm dates, a severity indicator, crew hours, and customers interrupted was developed. This database was used to determine crew hour requirements based on storm severity predicted forecasts and based on actual customer interrupted provided by PowerOn.
