Whether you earn your degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering, students in the Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) department at WPI graduate with a firm grasp of the fundamentals of civil engineering. But that’s just the beginning. The project-based CEE curriculum emphasizes professional practice, civic contributions, and leadership, while allowing students the flexibility to explore various civil engineering disciplines, such as the following:
- Structural and geotechnical engineering
- Environmental engineering
- Transportation engineering
- Urban and environmental planning
- Construction engineering and project management
Earning your degree in the CEE department will take you many places: the classroom and laboratory, working alongside our world-class faculty on research that addresses great civil engineering problems of our time; and around the world, conducting your IQP or MQP at one of our global Project Centers or right here in the Worcester community. Through it all, you’ll become a global citizen and steward of the planet, working toward sustainable solutions that will help build a bridge to a better future.
