ECE Hosts ECE Connections – Welcome to our First Year Students
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering welcomed its First Year students at the Campus Center Wednesday, February 16 for ECE Connections.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering welcomed its First Year students at the Campus Center Wednesday, February 16 for ECE Connections. Department Head and Professor Fred Looft started the evening off by welcoming the students and introducing ECE faculty and upperclass students. Dan Moyer ’11 ECE, advised by Professor John McNeill, presented his MQP, Solar-Powered Biocard, to the group followed by Professor Xinming Huang who introduced the leaders of the ECE student organizations, IEEE, Eta Kappa Nu, and Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering and ECE Department Student Tutors. Professor John Orr outlined the course path to an ECE degree from WPI. The event ended with a question and answer period.
