The area known as Fiske hill had little data concerning it's current terrain to that of 1775. It is known that it was a well wooded area, and that was filled with rails and downed trees. This photo shows the approximate place in which MAJ Pitcairn was inj ured. It is taken from the British perspective, and CPT Thatcher would be on the right hand side with his Cambridge company.
The main difference is the current road that runs up the hill, but the Battle Road still exists and can be walked.
