TouchTomorrow Event for Educators
June 6, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Thank you for your interest in this educator-only NASA and WPI event in advance of TouchTomorrow, a festival of science, technology, and robots.
Join fellow educators and together –
- Engage in a hands-on STEM session led by Rick Varner, an Aerospace Education Specialist (AESP) from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center; activities will be matched by grade band (K-5; 6-12)
- Learn about the Sample Return Robot Centennial Challenge
- Meet some of the robotics teams that took part in the challenge and learn about the different robot designs.
The event is free and open to all educators.
An email with directions and parking information will be sent prior to June 6 to all those who registered.
Photographs and videos will be taken throughout the event for use in WPI publications, websites, or communications for purposes of promoting the organization and its mission. By registering to this event you are granting full permission to WPI to use a photo which might include you in it as an event participant. We will not be linking participant names to the photos in any publications without express permission.
If for any reason you DO NOT wish to grant authorization for this, please check the box below on the Event RSVP Form and email a photo to email@example.com prior to June 6, 2013. This photo will be used to identify you in any photos or videos taken, which will then not be used.
