Innovative, Impactful and Purposeful Graduate Research Will Be On Display at WPI's Innovation Exchange
Set for 8 to 5 p.m. on March 19 in the Rubin Campus Center.
Graduate Research Achievement Day (GRAD): The Innovation Exchange is a showcase for the work of graduate students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute's (WPI) who are engaged in research. Master's and PhD candidates at will fill the upper level of the Rubin Campus Center, eager to share the results of their work in engineering, science, the life sciences and bioengineering, business, and the social sciences.
In colorful posters, they will describe ongoing research on intelligent tutors that help young students learn science and math, smarter and more sustainable building materials, stronger and lighter metals, mobile apps that promote healthy lifestyles, work on regenerative medicine and tissue engineering that may help heal and rejuvenate the body, and innovations that will help robots be companions for the elderly or respond to serious disasters, among many other areas.
More than 220 master's and PhD candidates will participate.
