The WPI health fee covers all services directly available at SHS. Students are responsible for the cost of laboratory tests, x-rays, prescription medications as well as expenses incurred when referred to an off-campus physician or hospital.
Insurance Information
Massachusetts requires that ALL enrolled students have health insurance. If you are no longer covered by a family plan, WPI makes available an insurance plan through Student Resources that provides coverage for major medical expenses. Information about this plan is available through the Health Services or the Accounting Office. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts also provides information via the Massachusetts Qualifying Student Health Insurance Program (QSHIP) website.
