RAD for Women
RAD for Women is an effective self-defense class taught nation wide and around the world, and now offered to WPI women for PE credit. The course offers simple, easy to learn and remember techniques that empower women and provide them with options to use if they are ever attacked. The class is taught in a supportive, non-threatening environment by both male and female instructors, and includes an optional simulation exercise at the end of the class which allows women to try the techniques they have learned in a safe but realistic scenario.
RAD for Women is offered during all four terms during the academic year. For information on a particular term's schedule, consult the Registrar's Office web page. For specific questions about the course, contact the Office of Mulitcultural Affairs - firstname.lastname@example.org or +1-508-831-5796.
