Welcome to WPI's Greek Life web site. While there are many exciting ways to get involved at WPI, our 18 fraternities and sororities provide lifelong opportunities. Since 1891 WPI Greeks have been leaders on campus, serving the community, networking with alumni to form career connections and making lifelong friends.

  • Did you know that: All but two U.S. Presidents since 1825 have been Greek.

  • Did you know that: In the past five years, more than 100 colleges and universities have opened their doors for the first time.

  • Did you know that: Of the nation's 50 largest corporations, 43 are headed by fraternity men.

  • Nat'l Conference report shows a high percentage of 4,000 NIC fraternity chapters are above All-Men's scholastic average on their respective campuses.

  • U.S. Government study shows that over 70% of all those who join a fraternity/sorority graduate, while under 50% of all non-members graduate.

  • Did you know that: WPI Greeks performed over 12,600 hours of community service in the 2010-2011 school year.

  • Did you know that: WPI Greeks raised over $60,000 for charity

  • Did you know that: Over 85% of the student leaders on approximately 800 campuses are involved in the Greek community.

  • Did you know that: 78% of Greeks are involved in other student organizations.

  • One of the most gratifying aspects of Greek membership is the sense of satisfaction and pride that comes with involvement in community service.

"To provide advisement, services, and programs that ensure all chapter members, alumni and parents of Greek Life have a positive fraternal experience. Greek Life Programs reinforces the founding principles of fraternities; leadership, scholarship, community service, brotherhood/sisterhood in all aspects of the program. Greek Life Programs strives to provide a high quality, co-curricular experience for all Greek constituencies."

WPI welcomes Beta Theta Pi Fraternity

Worcester Polytechnic Institute is pleased to welcome Beta Theta Pi Fraternity to join the WPI fraternity and sorority campus community, the first new North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) member fraternity to come to campus since 1978.
