Staff Council Members

Pronouns: He/Him/HisMike has built his career at WPI, starting in student affairs before joining the Academic Technology Center and now transitioning to IT project management. He has experience supporting faculty, staff, and students in a number of capacities. His varied roles across campus give him a solid understanding of how technology impacts different areas of the university and how to work with diverse stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

As University Registrar, Sarah leads a team of professionals dedicated to supporting the educational goals of WPI by upholding academic policy and the integrity of student information, while striving to provide excellent customer service to all members of the WPI community.  After ten years in various roles within higher education, she joined WPI in February 2014 and became University Registrar in June 2016.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Towson University and her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College.

Lauren Martunas is the Director of Financial Planning and Budgeting and has been with WPI since 2012, serving in roles across Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis. Lauren offers comprehensive support for operating budgets, discretionary funds, financial reporting, and forecasting. She provides expertise streamlining cross-divisional processes and supporting Academic Affairs and Administrative units. In her position, Lauren partners with departments to deliver training, documentation, and process improvements that promote consistent, effective financial practices. She holds a ...

Stacey acts as a bridge between the university and its students, crafting compelling messages across various media channels. She develops and executes social media strategies, creates engaging content for digital signage and the mobile app, and manages targeted email campaigns – all designed to attract prospective students and keep current students informed about the vibrant campus experience.

Adrienne joined the WPI International Student and Scholars Office team in 2022, having previously worked in International Student Services and Residence Life at other institutions.  Adrienne earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Minnesota State University Mankato, as well as a Spanish language minor while studying abroad in Costa Rica.  Adrienne then earned her Master’s degree in Higher Ed Student Affairs from Eastern Michigan University, during which time she interned at University of Alaska, Anchorage.  Adrienne is an avid collector of houseplants, and enjoys spending ...

As Associate Director, Employer Relations and Recruiting, Jaime leads the employer team in their work with company representatives at all levels of industry. The employer team consults on recruiting strategies and on-campus activity to assist employers with their hiring needs and brand awareness. Jaime also serves as the project manager for career fairs and other events, as well as for the office’s Employer Advisory Counselor (EAC). In addition to employer related activities, Jaime advises students on a variety of career related topics. She is committed to enhancing employer engagement and ...

Shawn supports domestic and international graduate recruitment at WPI through the development of key messaging, digital marketing campaigns, and website content. As the university advances its transformative STEM education, he also collaborates with his colleagues and campus partners to launch new graduate programs and initiatives. Additionally, Shawn is one of the marketing partners for The Business School at WPI. Prior to joining WPI, he was a senior strategist for a Philadelphia-based marketing and PR agency where he worked with a variety of technology and science clients.

Jessica joined the team in July 2019. Prior to her arrival at WPI, she was at Harvard University managing the student accounts customer service team and student loan operations team.Jessica earned her Bachelors of Science degree from UMASS-Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration as well as Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Non-Profit Management. Jessica has been in higher education since 2007 and has experience in the following divisions/departments: undergraduate enrollment, financial aid, finance, advancement (fundraising) ...

Amy Curran joined the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) in September 2019, bringing more than a decade of experience supporting student access and success. She is committed to helping students reach their academic goals while fostering an environment that encourages self-advocacy, growth, and belonging. Collaboration is central to her work, and she partners closely with colleagues across campus to strengthen the overall student experience. Outside of work, Amy enjoys time with her family, exploring museums, and getting lost in books that keep her up far too late.
