Office of Multicultural Affairs

WPI’s Office of Multicultural Affairs provides support, advocacy, and development services to help our students be successful at WPI and competitive in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.  WPI also provides opportunities for middle- and high school-aged children to have positive exposure to STEM disciplines.

Through networking opportunities, advising, clubs, and special events, our students forge strong connections with each other, the broader WPI community, and faculty and professional mentors. Today, there are 1,249 women students on campus - 32% of the student population. And our underrepresented minority population has increased over the past five years from 7.6% in 2007 to 11.7% in 2012.
